Made entirely of solid pine wood, the Brixton takes the classic four-poster silhouette and gives it real staying power — no MDF, no particleboard, just real wood with the grain and character to prove it. The wood is FSC certified and sourced from renewable forests, so it looks good and does good. Hand-turned finial posts rise from a gently arched headboard, and a scalloped footboard rounds out a shape that's part farmhouse, part heirloom, entirely unbothered by trends.
We designed the Brixton so you can skip the box spring entirely. It ships with 13 solid wood slats and 3 central support legs already sorted, so once it's built, all that's left is the mattress. Rated to hold up to 560 lbs, this isn't a bed that's precious about being used.
Available in two finishes — a deep, classic Walnut and a modern matte Black — the Brixton is CARB/TSCA Title VI certified and meets California's strict 93120 standard for formaldehyde emissions. Budget about an hour to build it, and bring backup — this one's a two-person job.
